Six months into the engagement, Move was acquired by News Corp. The enterprise integration roadmap became foundational to post-acquisition alignment.
Situation
Move, Inc. — operator of Realtor.com, one of the most visited real estate platforms in the U.S. — was operating across 14 business units with fragmented customer data, inconsistent MDM strategies, and overlapping systems from multiple acquisitions. The company needed a unified enterprise data architecture and MDM strategy to bring order to a complex, rapidly growing ecosystem.
Six months into the engagement, Move was acquired by News Corp. The stakes couldn’t have been higher.

The work included integrating customer data from seven companies with overlapping MLS data, consolidating 200+ MLS systems into a unified architecture, and creating the data roadmap that became foundational to post-acquisition integration with News Corp.
The engagement also included a CRM migration from Siebel to Salesforce, enterprise data council formation to align governance across the ecosystem, and collaboration with Data Science, Big Data, and EDW teams to ensure MDM strategy aligned with enterprise analytics objectives.
